Beginning of my proud..
Yesterday four of our students (Olein, Noor, Renske and Nadia) joined the scouting class at Artez (Arnhem Dance Academy).
I was there (the owner of the ballet school,my boss) asked me to come and see the class (teachers and parents were allowed to see the class). My dance partner was there as well. I asked him to come with me, because the girls are in his class this season (before the girls were on my class).
The parents were happy to see us there. The girls were hilarious when they saw us came in.
The scouting class was a pre-selection class for children from amateur ballet schools. The class was given by a classical ballet teacher from the High School of Dance (preparation school before going to the dance academy). After the class we (the teachers) got an information about the possibilities for our students.
And….
We got an explanations that all 4 girls of ours were getting a positive reviews and that they are welcome to join an audition for the High School of Dance for 2010-2011 study year !!!
Woooooooooowww…so happy !!!
It means I did (still do..) a good job. Its also for my dance partner :)
Its a good beginning for my teaching career in The Netherlands. I’m waiting for more years to come.
